Seahorse Bay is the quiet lagoon between Hurghada and El Gouna. A large, shallow stretch of water with a soft sandy bottom, wind 70% of the year, and the feel of a small, human-scale club. Away from the bustle of Hurghada's spots, it's the dream place to start and build confidence, with room for everyone.
Seahorse Bay keeps a low profile. No concrete seafront here, no crowds: a human-scale club (gear, storage, coaching for a limited number of riders) set on a soft-sand lagoon between two big kite hubs. You come for the space, the calm and the safety of the water rather than for performance. It's a cocoon spot: ideal for a first camp or to progress in peace, with the offshore pool held in reserve for days when you want a little more.
First and foremost a learning spot. The large shallow area, sandy bottom and stable wind direction make it a safe place to start; the lagoon is big enough to keep a beginner zone and a livelier one apart, without crowding. Even at low tide, stronger riders enjoy a pool that links the lagoon to deeper water for uninterrupted riding.
