Discover Limnos — Keros
A 3 km turquoise bay on a wild island in the northern Aegean, where a steady meltemi blows over waist-deep water. Fine sand as far as you can see, and all the room you need to glide.
A raw, preserved Aegean: a long fine-sand beach at the head of a protected Natura 2000 gulf, far from Myrina's crowds. The meltemi sets in around noon, warm and constant, smoothing a shallow bay you learn on in confidence. The north corner is table-flat for freestyle, chop mid-bay, small waves to the south. The vibe is camp, the riders friendly, and sand everywhere makes for an easy walk back. A simple, generous island spot, where the day falls into step with the wind and you leave with a smile.
Level and best time
A flatwater paradise to learn and progress: the bay is wide, shallow and sandy, with a huge standing-depth area. The meltemi comes in side-onshore to cross-onshore on the central and southern beach, so you always drift back in. The north corner is table-flat for freestyle, small waves at the south end; advanced riders are welcome too.

Keros beach sits on the North Aegean island of Limnos, about 32 km east of Myrina, near the village of Kalliopi. It's remote and rarely packed: there's always room to set up.
source : greeka.com ↗The whole scene revolves around the camp: Surf Club Keros (IKO kite and wing, Cabrinha gear), the Duotone Pro Center Limnos and the Keros Bay camp. You'll find gear rental, the camp bar and food, plus showers to rinse off after your session.

The north corner, at the top of the bay, is gusty and turns cross-offshore: don't venture there as a beginner without cover, especially early in the morning before the rescue boat is out. There the wind pushes you out to sea and a gear failure can quickly go wrong. The rest of the bay is a safe, shallow sandy flat where you can stand: stay in it while you find your feet.
